SafeSport Training

Providing tools to help you succeed in All Star

FREE SafeSport Training for Parents

The U.S. Center for SafeSport™ offers a FREE Parent’s Guide to Misconduct in Sport. This course explains the issues of misconduct in sport and helps parents ensure their children have a positive and safe sport experience.

If you are a parent looking for resources on keeping your athlete safe, you can access this training at no cost. Simply click on this link >> SafeSport Training and Educational Services, create an account, add the parent training to your bag, and you’ll be able to access the training.

All owners, coaches and personnel members are required to complete the U.S. Center for SafeSport™ Trained online course through their USASF portal to be considered an Eligible Member of the U.S. All Star Federation. This is in addition to the other eligibility requirements.

The U.S. Center for SafeSport has trained over 500,000 individuals in the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movements and is now partnering with the USASF as part of a mission to make athlete well-being the centerpiece of our nation’s sports culture through abuse prevention, education and accountability.

The SafeSport™ Trained online course is the best-in-class course specifically developed to address sexual misconduct and physical and emotional abuse in a sports environment.

This 90-minute course for coaches, team volunteers, administrators, support team and staff include 3 modules providing an in-depth foundation in abuse awareness and prevention:

  • Mandatory Reporting: Understanding Your Responsibilities
  • Sexual Misconduct Awareness Education
  • Emotional and Physical Misconduct

Your program will learn how to identify, prevent and respond to issues of misconduct and abuse and what to do if they do occur.
